State-of-the-art veterinary clinic now open in Yandina

Ninderry Veterinary Surgery has just opened its doors in the new complex opposite the IGA in Yandina. 

The practice will provide a comprehensive range of veterinary services to animals across the Sunshine Coast.  

Vets include Drs Stuart Bryce, Bernadette Rowley and Jess Ramm, with Dr Clare Bryce to join the practice in 2022. 

“This gives a total of 64 years of full-time veterinary experience across our team,” said Stuart. “With all the experience of our amazing nursing team, we can boast over 100 years of experience in animal care.”

The practice has been built to the highest standards required by the Veterinary Surgeons Board, and has state-of-the-art equipment to allow for best practice and innovation in veterinary care. 

“Aligned with our sister practice, Hinterland Equine Vet Services, we aim to provide a broad range of care to all creatures,” said Stuart.

Services include health checks, vaccinations, surgical procedures, desexing, in-house and referral laboratory diagnostics, digital radiology, ultrasound, dentistry, microchipping, tick paralysis treatment and emergency care.

Stuart graduated from Queensland University in 1991, and worked throughout Queensland and New South Wales before moving to a job in Cooroy 24 years ago. 

He has had a diverse and interesting professional career and loves seeing the benefits provided to his patients by effective and up-to-date medications and surgery. 

He also maintains a strong focus on continuing education and has recently been admitted to Membership of the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists, a rigorous process requiring several examinations. 

He also owns and rides horses, and loves walks on the beach with the many dogs that share his life. 

Stuart said the new practice represented the culmination of a lifetime of interest in veterinary care.

“I wanted to be a vet since I was 15,” he said. “I’m just lucky, I guess, that I’ve been able to spend my life doing the thing that I love. It makes it more than just a job.”
